Road accidents have been a major issue for deaths in the urban areas, among which drunk driving seems to be the major cause. Drunk drivers will not be able to deal with emergency situations when they are driving because of the alcohol. The primary goal of this study is to develop an efficient mechanism to minimize drunk driving accidents. So, one can detect the blood alcohol content using the proposed device and if the blood alcohol level exceeds a given threshold, then there will be a prompt to stop the vehicle and will stop eventually. As soon as the driver tries to start the vehicle after consuming excessive alcohol, the air that circulates in the car while he is breathing will alert the sensors installed in it and the motor part will not start, a person cannot start the car further. The sensor will be fixed in such a way that it can sense and analyze BAC as easy and fast as possible. It senses the impulse of the person and if the concentration of alcohol detected is below the allowable standard, the car can be started normally. If the concentration of alcohol is above the allowable standard, the system will send an alarm to the driver. This mechanism works to fulfill the sole purpose of avoiding drunk driving caused by road accidents by checking the interior atmosphere of the car and not allowing the vehicle to start if a drunken person tries to start the vehicle. The system consists of these parts: Sensor parts, processing parts and execution parts, among these the MQ-3 sensor will detect the concentration of alcohol in human beings.
