This research paper describes a prototype software model intended to improve the efficiency and security of the Indian Railways' ticket buying process, notably for customers travelling in general class. The study also gives a thorough examination of current solutions and their limitations. One notable issue found is the lack of a tracking system for local passengers in the general class, which causes inefficiencies and security issues. To solve this, the suggested approach uses face recognition technology to effectively manage lineups in the offline booking area. Furthermore, automation techniques are used to speed up formerly manual operations, resulting in increased total booking speed. The program keeps track of all passengers, providing a reliable system for tracking and security. This approach not only enhances the booking experience but also contributes to improved safety measures within the railway system.
