Vehicles that support V2X technology have proven that it improved road safety, enhanced traffic flow, and reduced driver distraction. On the other hand, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems known as (ADAS) are mainly based on providing advanced features for the vehicle such as lane departure warning, collision avoidance, blind spot monitoring, etc. Integration of both systems into a single system and deploying this system into the vehicles indeed will need high specifications that weren’t required before. To make this system and its applications run effectively, we had to choose a software platform that integrates and runs well on high-performance CPUs. So, the Adaptive AUTOSAR Platform was the best match.
