The band-edge relaxation dynamics of isolated single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) was studied by two-color pump-probe spectroscopy. A novel relaxation pathway (decay time /spl sim/ 100 ps) was observed that correlated with a SWNT electronic resonance.
