Majority of road accidents are caused by careless drivers, and as a result, severe accidents occur frequently. Due to this, more and more lives are prone to danger. Autonomous cars were therefore born as a result. With autonomous cars, the possibility of human error can be reduced to a greater extent. The primary goal of our project is to provide the user with safety and security. It aims to equip automobiles with lane detecting technology so that they do not deviate from the road while the driver is distracted. The project was started with lane detection, utilizing python’s Open-CV library to detect lanes and obstructions in the road and python’s Numpy library for mathematical computations. In addition, to improve security, our concept integrates a biometric/password to activate the motor. MatLab is used to simulate the motor and driver circuit, which is controlled by a web application. The web application may be used to turn the car On or Off. In the event of theft, the automobile can be remotely locked and retrieved.
