This paper put forward a water lubricated composite rubber bearings SPB-N, which has excellent mechanical and tribological performance. Based on the standard formula of NBR and “Rubber-Plastic” blending theory, a systemic method including preparation process, microanalysis and component analysis of SPB-N was also proposed. Known from the analysis of SEM figure, the SPB-N contains heterogeneous and multiple structures. From the Fourier infrared spectrum analysis we know that : the main component is still NBR with partial modification. And the blending UHMWPE is embedded in the NBR mainly in granular forms, which proved that blending NBR/UHMWPE/Graphite is a feasible method to manufacture water lubricated composite rubber bearings.
