When the local subway emergency service is interrupted, the public transportation network will cause cascading failure behaviour due to its related links, leading to the collapse of the entire network and seriously affecting the regular and safe operation of the city. The research on the cascading failure of transportation networks under the interruption of subway service is mainly from a single network structure. The public transportation network is not taken as a whole. Therefore, studying the cascading failure mechanism of public transportation networks when subway service is interrupted is significant to ensure the efficient and safe operation of transportation networks and other systems. In this paper, aiming at the problem of cascading failure of public transport network under the interruption of the subway station, combined with complex network theory and structural characteristics, a three-layer complex network cascading failure model of bus-sharing bicycle-subway is established, and the passenger flow movement rules are established when the cascading failure occurs. The MSA algorithm is used for passenger flow distribution. At the same time, the maximum relative connected subgraph size (RSGC), average shortest path (APL), overall network efficiency (GNE) and passenger transfer efficiency (PTER) are proposed to evaluate. the impact of cascading failures on the network. Finally, the regional public transport network in xi’an is selected as the background of the case study. The results show that the proposed method is reasonable and adequate: (i) The more significant the node degree of the station, the greater the impact of the cascading failure caused by the interruption of the subway station; (ii) Appropriate adjustment of network capacity can reduce the impact of cascading failures caused by station outages to a certain extent.
