Quality evaluation of the final approach flight operating skill is one of the keys in flight training. To overcome the shortcomings of traditional flight training quality evaluation methods, a new flight operating quality evaluation method was proposed based on the flight parameters data recorded from the airborne integrated avionics system. The flight technical errors (FTE) such as velocity deviation, height deviation and lateral deviation were used for the evaluation index system modeling. Case study were conducted based on real flight parameter data from the solo flight training, and the evaluation results statistical analysis showed that the flight path left deviation had existed in most flight students. By exploring the FTE curves for the final approach segment in the solo flight training, different operating quality growth curves of the flight students were summarized respectively. The proposed method had significant improvements for the flight student operating skill quantitative evaluation.
