Ship energy efficiency operation index (EEOI) reveals fuel consumption efficiency after she finishes the voyage. We aim to analyze ship pollution emission with indicators of carbon dioxide emissions, carbon dioxide index, fuel consumption and energy efficiency operation index (EEOI), etc. Experiment results showed that ship EEOI value shown a descending tendency since 2020 (decreasing approximately 8% per year for the recent three years). It was also found that sailing distance and carbon coefficient will impose positive impact on CO2 emission. The CO2 index measures CO2 emission in quantitative manner, while fuel consumption depends on power of ship main engine, auxiliary engine and boiler. In addition, ship EEOI indicator is further affected by ship fuel consumption, cargo transportation volume and sailing distance.
