The Generic Ready Reckoner (GRR) is a tool for high-level analysis and comparison of the feasibility of converting vehicles from a wide range of sectors to battery, hydrogen, or hybrid powertrains. Built-in data covering 42 vehicles over 6 different sectors; Wheel-Based, Off-Highway, Public-service, Rail, Marine and Aerospace, allows straightforward high-level analysis, whilst still allowing a user to enter data to match any specific requirements. Analysis also covers technology targets up to 2030 to help determine which sectors may become more feasible in the future. A journey from Southampton to Liverpool is used to showcase the contribution of the GRR.
