From a systemic perspective, satellite systems can be classified into three levels: the entire satellite, subsystems, and components. Compared to the design and optimization of satellite parameters at the entire satellite and subsystem levels, optimization at the component level can provide more specific decision support for engineering practices. Building upon a foundation of rapidly constructed simulation models, we proposed a multigranularity batch sequential design method to address the difficulties in solving this design optimization problem as well as the high computational costs. Specifically, we achieved the fast construction of multigranularity models and reduced the computational costs in evaluating satellite scheme performance. In addition, we employed a hyper-spherical coverage method in substitution of the hyperrectangular space partitioning method, thereby reducing the complexity of solving subregions. We also put forward selection methods for choosing the potential optimal subregions and switching criteria for model granularities, allowing for the appropriate model granularity to be chosen as needed. The numerical simulation results validate the effectiveness of our proposed method, it helps accomplish the fast design optimization of component-level satellite models, thereby providing timely and effective assistance for engineering applications.
