Aiming at the phenomenon of slope slipping when electric vehicle starts on the ramp, an adaptive torque regulation starting control strategy is adopted, which can improve the vehicle starting stability, reduce the vehicle slope distance and effectively avoid the occurrence of safety hazards. The control system uses the vehicle controller to collect the vehicle information and make a judgment on the driving conditions, and if it meets the hill-stop condition, it sends the hill-stop torque signal to the motor controller, which controls the motor to output the hill-stop torque. The standing slope torque value is estimated jointly by the extended Kalman filter algorithm for the vehicle mass and slope value, and the standing slope torque to keep the vehicle stationary on the slope is calculated according to the estimated value, and then the output torque is adjusted by the integral separation PI for torque compensation to adjust the motor output torque in real time to reduce the slope distance when starting and realize the smooth starting of the vehicle. The adaptive start simulation model of electric vehicle is built by MATLAB/Simulink and simulated jointly with Carsim. The simulation results show that the control strategy can make the vehicle start smoothly and meet the requirements of safe start, which verifies the feasibility of the algorithm.
