Vibration signatures of battlefield vehicles are strong criteria to discriminate real targets and decoys (Ebert, 2002). To implement vibration detection in a fire control radar system, it is important to analyse the behaviour of vibration signatures over a respective frequency range. This paper shows the first results of a pilot study which analyses vibration signatures of real battlefield targets at 10 GHz, 35 GHz and 94GHz.
