The rising energy consumption in the transport sector, along with its adverse effects on both the economy and the environment, has become a significant concern. This study seeks to model gasoline demand within Tunisia’s road transport sector by empirically evaluating the effectiveness of various forecasting models for energy demand. For this analysis, two models are utilized: The Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) and the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model. By identifying and applying the most suitable model, this research estimates the demand for road gasoline in Tunisia for the period from 2022 to 2032.
