Implementing airbags on bikes to enhance rider safety during accidents is a compelling idea. Our proposed system aims to prevent fall-related injuries, tailored for both bike racing and everyday motorcycle use, as well as elderly riders prone to falls. It utilizes an airbag that deploys upon detecting critical signals from acceleration, ground inclination, and obstacle proximity serving as an early warning and protective measure. For instance, if the MPU6050 sensor detects an angle of 45 degrees or less, or bumper switch ON then indicating an impending fall, the air compressor activates to inflate the airbag housed within the rider's jacket. Similarly, the system triggers inflation if the ultrasonic sensor detects obstacles within 3cm, further safeguarding the rider from impact. This integrated approach ensures comprehensive rider safety through advanced sensor technology and responsive airbag deployment. The system comprises essential components like power supply, microcontroller, sensors, airbag mechanisms, and dedicated circuits, effectively collecting and processing data to swiftly respond to potential falls and mitigate injury risks.
