With the continuous development of power backbone communication network, the network scale is expanding day by day, most SDH network elements have reached three or four hundred, the network topology is becoming more and more complex, the traditional subnets can not meet the stable operation of the system. Based on the characteristics of power backbone communication network, such as topological structure, regional distribution and service bearing, this paper deeply studies the communication principles of DCN and ECC in SDH network, and proposes suitable ECC subnets to eliminate network hidden dangers and improve operation stability. Certain risks exist and need to be combined with network topology.
