Accidents are seen as among the most harmful events. Although many different factors might cause an automobile collision, driver negligence and excessive speed are the most common causes. Additionally, it appears that a lack of awareness makes it difficult to arrive at the scene of the collision in time. The emergence of Internet of Things (IoT) technology can help solve this problem by lowering the incidence of accidents. The explanation of a clever system that warns drivers regulates vehicle speed, and notifies others appropriately in the case of an accident. This gadget continually monitors the distance between any obstructions and approaching cars using a distance sensor. It will automatically slow down and advise the driver to control speed as a crucial distance approaches. If an accident happens under suspicious conditions, the accountable party will get a warning message with information about the involved car. The primary objective of accident prevention is to decrease the number of traffic collisions that result in the loss of human life and other valuable goods. The Accident Prevention and Detection System (APDS) prevents fatalities by shortening the response time of emergency personnel. We are creating an Internet of Things application that will lower the accident rate.
