A 1.4 GHz high gain Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with single ended input and differential output for global navigation systems like GPS operating in L3 and L4 bands is proposed in this paper. This design has two stages, the first stage uses an inductor-degeneration topology and the second stage has two branches to generate amplified differential output and it reuses the current from positive terminal to reduce the disturbance at high gain due to mismatch. The simulation results for this design in CMOS 180 nm technology are very competitive with the present day designs. This LNA consumes 3.5 mA current under 1.8 V power supply and exhibits a differential voltage gain of 43 dB, 1 dB compression point is −12.8 dBm and IIP3 is 1.2 dBm. The simulated noise figure is 4.02 dB in the frequency range of L3 and L4 bands.
