This paper investigates the power sharing control of loads supplied by multiple sources in a zonal ship dc microgrid. A voltage mode droop is implemented and the stability issue is considered when two buck converters under droop control are used in a zonal system configuration. The state-space model of zonal power system is established and the impact of droop gain, proportional controller and load power in converter is investigated by Eigenvalue analysis. Stability was shown to be robust for this system which includes droop control. Simulation results, based on average-value converter models, validate the theoretical analysis.
