This work addresses the problem of eliminating backscattering distortions or laser feedback effects in precise long-path laser interferometers. The approach to the problem consists of two kinds of tasks: (i) development of the original technique laser feedback in precise measurements; and (ii) application of feedback effects for new laser interferometer scheme creation. Main results of recent investigations are presented.
