Paralysis may be temporary or permanent, depending on the disease or injury. As paralysis can affect any muscle in the body, a person may lose not only the ability to move but also the ability to talk or to breathe unaided. Therefore, there is a need for a device that can provide an opportunity for such people to communicate with other people without difficulty and without costing too much. This device can be used to generate voice and text of the message indicated by those people and thereby makes them more independent. The heart of this device is the IR sensor. There are two IR sensors fixed on eye spectacles. These IR sensors are integrated with PSoC [1]. The data collected from these sensors are object sensitive and therefore can be analysed to detect a message. The character or texts are displayed on the LCD and corresponding channel on the voice chip (APR33A3) is triggered for voice output.
