The alert information represented at emerging situations is critical to flight safety. In order to model and evaluate the alerts under complex system interactions background, a model based system engineering approach is proposed to design the alert logic model in correlation with functional logic interactions through the parametric diagram. Thereafter OpenModelica is utilized to simulate the alert logic and differentiate between the root and the derived alerts under the support of system models. With three scenarios of engine fire situation conducted, the feasibility of the method was verified.
