This paper presents a robust and relatively concise flux-weakening control scheme using anti-windup for induction motor(IM) in high speed region. The proper q-axis current reference in constant-voltage region is achieved for both maximum torque capability and anti-windup phenomenon. Comparing with voltage regulator method, only one tuning parameter ensures the tuning simplification. First, the operation constrains of IM in full-speed operating conditions are introduced. Then, this paper investigates the comparatively complex realization of flux-weakening close-loop with voltage regulator. Per the above, an effective algorithm using anti-windup for d-axis voltage control in constant-voltage region is proposed, which is confirmed the validity by the simulation results in MATLAB.
