The methodology and the assorted experimental techniques utilized in the aerodynamic investigation of a planetary entry capsule at low speed are presented. The combination of novel and classical instrumentation permitted the description of topology and off surface features that are important in the study of terminal capsule aerodynamics. In addition. Suggestions on future commercial development of sensors conducive for general blunt body studies are made.
