In order to reduce the running speed of vehicles in underground tunnel and improve the traffic safety of underground tunnel, a method of vehicle speed guidance in underground tunnel based on stereoscopic illusion is proposed. By designing the visual information of the walls on both sides of the underground tunnel, setting luminous signs and convex AIDS at a certain distance, and using the stereoscopic illusion, the driver can intuitively feel his own speed, so as to achieve the purpose of controlling the speed. The simulation software UC win / road is used to simulate and model the underground tunnel, and the vehicle speed is taken as the main evaluation index to verify the feasibility of this method. The results show that the vehicle speed of the underground tunnel is significantly lower than that of the road section without this method, which shows that the speed guidance method of the underground tunnel can reduce the running speed and improve traffic safety.
