Nowadays, with the development of More-Electric/All-Electric aircraft and hybrid/pure electric vehicles, the high reliability of motor servo system is required. Redundancy technique is one of the most effective methods to improve the reliability and performance of servo systems. In this paper, the mathematical model of the dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (DTP PMSM) is established based on complex frequency domain analysis. The fault diagnosis method based on residual analysis of state variables and dual redundancy mode/single redundancy mode switch running fault tolerant control strategy are proposed. The results of simulation verify the validity of the method.
