The electrical power subsystems are responsible for delivering reliable electrical power to all loads of satellite under all foreseeable operational states and environments during all mission phases and over the intended design life of the loads and the satellite. Power subsystems are one of the most crucial subsystems of a satellite. Therefore designing and implementing a satellite power system requires consideration of reliability, efficiency, autonomy, redundancy, and size. Furthermore, these parameters are often associated with the lifetime of a satellite's power subsystem. The Electrical Power Subsystem Design of İMECE Satellite's architecture, redundancy, concept, autonomous operation, and sizing are described in this paper. In addition, the subsystem and each unit are presented in detail. For battery charge regulators, constant current, which utilizes a maximum power point tracking algorithm, and constant voltage control loop are introduced in detail.
