In this report we review progress in extending the beam clean up technology to CW laser sources through the use of multi-mode optical fibre. We report on the operational performance of the new fibre-based optical phase conjugation (OPC)-SBS technology for beam clean up of CW MOPA laser radiation with prospective power scaling from mW's to kW's. In this work we also report on the first experimental observation of spectral self-phase conjugation (SpSPC) in SBS. The phenomenon is the spectral (temporal) analogue to conventional (spatial) self-phase conjugation in SBS.
