VHF air-to-ground communication is very important for the communications between air traffic controllers and pilots in civil aviation. However, due to various kinds of reasons, radio interference exists in the VHF communication link and has posed a great threat to the civil aviation safety. In this paper, we first establish a practical data model for the problem of interest, then a blind signal extraction (BSE) method based on constant modulus array is proposed to suppress the interference. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.
