Dual-satellite formation configuration has been successfully constructed on orbit to complete the interferometric imaging test for GJ-2 commercial remote sensing satellites, the closest distance of which reaches 300 meters and which have long-term autonomous control ability. Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS) plays an important role in the dual-satellite formation-flying mission. In view of the characteristics and difficulties of dual-satellite formation flying, this paper introduces the AOCS composition and working principle of the two satellites, the stage partition and key technologies of formation flying, as well as the on-orbit flight situation and result evaluation. Through the analysis of formation-flying data on orbit, the performance of AOCS is proved to be excellent.
