Through decades of development, the system architecture of the space control center has been continuously evolved and system composition of that has been increasingly complicated. With more satellites running on orbit, the intensity and concurrency of spacecraft TT&C (track, telemetry and control) has been significantly improved, which in turn results in the decrease of the reliability and restorability of the system. In other words, both mission & function expanding may affect the stability of the whole system, and the load balancing ability of the system may become weak, when facing the requirements of large scale computation & mass data processing. Based on the research of the cloud computing technology & combined with the engineering practice in the space control center, the application of the cloud computing technology in the designing of the space control center system are discussed and technical suggesting as well as implementation roadmap are proposed in this paper.
