This paper proposes a hybrid guidance law for multi-missile defence system that designed to intercept the same maneuvering target, and not obstructing with the actual mission. Main motivation of the problem is to prepare the available cost effective missiles of medium or small scales for defending a powerful target. The linear quadratic optimal control approach is considered for the effective design of the guidance law. Proportional Navigation Guidance law and Cooperative Guidance laws are formulated separately and the combination of both gives a new guidance law called Hybrid Guidance Law. Performance of the guidance laws are studied using numerical simulation and analyzed the results of planar linear interception.
