▪ ATN/IPS according to Doc9896 provides already adequate performance. — The SANDRA protocol optimizations improve the performance significantly. ▪ Movement detection is the major contributor to ATN/IPS network mobility: — With optimized RA parameters the handover performance can be improved. — Optimizing NUD is less effective and not completely reliable. — FRS signaling could help even more, but is currently not foreseen in the FRS proposals. ▪ The FRS convergence layer may be selected according to the required features as performance differences are small. ▪ Using the FRS QoS classes provides already robust traffic prioritization.
