Vehicle-to-vehicle communication, an emerging technology, enables moving vehicles to exchange data with one another to reduce the likelihood of collisions and enhance road safety for all users. An efficient communication system for intelligent transportation systems is the primary goal of V2V communication protocol. Due to technological advancements, the automotive industry has created autonomous vehicles capable of exchanging data in real-time or preventing collisions. For fast, short-range communication between infrastructure and vehicles, the industry developed DSRC protocol. It was created to assist ITS applications and runs on the 5.9 GHz frequency. This research examines vehicle-to-vehicle communication systems that rely on DSRCs. This study evaluates concepts from several previous studies to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the state of Vehicle-to- Vehicle (V2V) communication systems employing Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC).
