The types of urban passenger transport are of the greatest importance for the life of the city, the role of which is a modern city is reduced to providing convenience and reducing the time spent on travel. The capacity of the bus stop point is an important part of the public transports system where the efficiency of the public buses depends on the high workability and the level of service at these points. The aim of this study is to form a group of public transports for urban passenger transport and factors influencing the capacity of bus stop points; in this study, the data was collected from different stop points in Chelyabinsk city, Russia. According to the Highway Capacity Manuals (HCM 2000), the capacity of buses, stops are calculated. The main principles of study were the dependencies of the number of passengers and types of public transport on the time of day for two directions of the movement. Varies from time of day with a frequency of about four hours, however, with a shift in the maximum passenger demand at stopping points because of the commercial and industrial establishments contained in the study site
