• Strong multipath can significantly affect ranging performance • LDACS1 signals offers only a limited immunity against multipath • Doppler-based smoothing can significantly improve range estimates for intermittent multipath interference • Accurate channel models are required for evaluation of LDACS1-based or any other future ground-based APNT concept
