Automated and scalable spectrum monitoring will enable regulatory authorities to manage the increasing complexity and volume of wireless services, particularly with the advent of 5G and 5G advanced. This paper explores a method to enhance spectrum management operations through automated and scalable monitoring using multisource measurements. The proposed system enables large-scale monitoring of commercial mobile bands, providing regulators with critical insights into frequency band deployments and service availability. The results illustrate the system’s capability to generate valuable data, aiding in the understanding and management of spectrum deployment and usage, ultimately supporting data-driven spectrum management and sharing.
