Hybrid power systems based on fuel cells, photo-voltaic (PV) sources, and batteries have emerged as promising solutions for clean and reliable power generation. This paper presents an investigation into the integration of these technologies to enhance energy efficiency, improve energy management, and maximize the utilization of renewable energy sources. The proposed work covers the modelling, control, energy management, and operation of a hybrid system comprising a fuel cell, photo-voltaic (PV) system, and battery energy storage system (BESS). In addition to this reduces the current ripple which is suitable for renewable energy sources like (PV and FC). A grid-tied hybrid system employs a primary source of renewable distributed generation, consisting of both photovoltaic (PV) panels and a fuel cell (FC), with a secondary source being a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
