We report on the investigation of the spectral properties of noncritically phase-matched cw optical parametric oscillators (OPO) of KTiOPO/sub 4/ (KTP). The OPOs are pumped by a single-mode Ti:sapphire laser or a single-stripe GaAlAs diode laser. Because of the tunability of these pump sources the wavelengths of the signal and idler waves are, in principle, tunable in the range of 1.05-1.37 /spl mu/m and 2.2-3.1 /spl mu/m, respectively. The collinear pumping maintains perfect alignment of the tuned OPO.
