The flourishing space sector is undergoing a transformative evolution propelled by advancements in ground support technologies empowered by software solutions. Ground System serves as the backbone and primary infrastructure required to carry out spacecraft operations. Spacecraft Control Facility monitors and controls a fleet of geostationary and geosynchronous spacecraft across multiple different longitudinal slots with collocated spacecraft. Satellite Telemetry, Tracking and Commanding operations demand 24x7 monitoring and control of ground station devices. To ensure smooth and seamless operations, one way is to manually monitor the health of the equipment involved which requires more manpower round the clock and increases the probability of making mistakes. Traditional ground support software has often been suffering from inefficiencies, limited scalability, and high costs. This paper describes new generation software applications like web-based centralized monitoring and control software, Multiranger ranging which facilitates simultaneous multi-spacecraft ranging along with Semi-Active mode of ranging which caters to overcome above drawbacks and is built and improved over years of operational experience. This paper shows the pivotal role of software in revolutionizing space operations, focusing on its impact on ground-based support systems.
