Today's World is getting more addicted of robot's applications and autonomous vehicles due to their improved performance and higher accuracy. A quad copter belongs to the same family due to flight stability, light weight, durability in flight, and accurate maneuverability. This research is based on design of dynamics controller of a quadcopter during hovering manuever using PID and SMC (sliding mode control) control techniques. The simulation results show improved response as compared to the previous studies under the same input conditions.
