This work addresses the challenge of efficiently allocating and reserving resources in vehicular communications under mixed-traffic scenarios (periodic and aperiodic). We propose an adaptive algorithm incorporating Full-Duplex (FD) capabilities to detect and mitigate collisions in real-time. The method dynamically adjusts the selection counter (RC) and the reservation interval (RRI), distinguishing between periodic traffic, characterized by fixed intervals, and aperiodic traffic, which features unpredictable generation. Through simulations in 5G NR-V2X Mode 2, we observe that the proposed scheme improves reliability (PRR) and reduces latency compared to other reference approaches, particularly in high-density vehicular settings. FD enables immediate collision responses, preventing lingering conflicts and optimizing periodic and aperiodic traffic performance.
