To increase the optimal allocation level of military transportation resources, on the basis of built aviation network, a route planning method based on Gray Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm is proposed for military transport aircraft. First, applying the relevant knowledge of graph theory, the aviation network model is established; then, GWO algorithm is introduced to optimize the flight path on the built aviation network for route planning of military transport aircraft. The simulation shows that the proposed method has the characteristics of fast convergence, high efficiency, practicability and easy implementation, and can solve the route planning problem of military transport aircraft well.
