Configuration of the network is an important component of any transportation system. Flight routes network is used to serve air traffic within particular airspace. Analysis of flight routes network configuration can be performed with a help of graph theory considering flight routes as an undirected graph. In this case, waypoints are associated with nodes of the graph and airways correspond to edges. However, the requirement to users, based on different types of airspaces should be taken into account. In the paper we specify most requirements for airspace and users to study flight routes network configuration based on graph analysis. Measures of simple and weighted node degree, closeness and betweenness centrality have been used to estimate network configuration. In the numerical demonstration we provide an analysis of the Ukrainian flight routes network. Special attention has been provided to the Ukrainian sub-network of flight routes in the Black Sea region.
