Traditional traffic management and control systems have struggled to keep up with this growth, whatever the traffic signals deployed in the cities to control this traffic are not sufficient, since these traffic signal lights are having predetermined timings Which are static in nature, which cannot be change according to incoming traffic flow and to maintain this traffic condition requires more manpower and high maintains, this leads to the need for more advanced and automated systems. Smart traffic management and control system technological solution that aims to improve the safety and efficiency of traffic flow on roads and highways. This system uses real time data and algorithm to calculate and assign efficient traffic signal timing based on the incoming traffic flow (Density of the traffic). This system has several benefits, including reduced traffic congestion, improved safety, and increased efficiency of transportation networks.
