The paper presents the technical characteristics of the PGSR-3i ‘Beagle’ ground surveillance radar (GSR) manufactured by the Hungarian company Pro Patria Electronics, and a description of its tests, conducted by the Air Force Institute of Technology as part of the supply of the ground surveillance radar for the Polish Army. The conditions and limitations of selected tests and the applied methods for compensating adverse terrain conditions preventing the correct functioning of the tested radar were also discussed. The article also contains the results of selected tests.
