Renewable energy generation is getting increasingly popular because of the shortage of fossil resources. To obtain a high-quality performance waveform, the paper proposed a single phase multilevel inverter structure for grid-connected solar systems. Incomparison to traditional multilevel inverter topologies, the proposed design utilizesa smaller number of power semiconductor switches are used to create output higher voltage levels with less total harmonic distortion. The pulses of switching of the suggested multilevel inverter were generated utilizing a selective harmonic elimination pulse width modulation method. A single diode PV system and double boost converter are used to decrease complexity in the system design. This research also considered the enhanced incremental conductance algorithm for MPP tracking. The system is tested under standard testing conditions using PLECS. This shows that the proposed system ideal for grid integration of solar energy.
