This research presents a Three-Load TwelveSwitch Inverter (TLTSI) Drive designed for precise control of three Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM). The increasing demand for efficient and high-performance motor drives, particularly in industrial applications, necessitates advanced control strategies. The proposed system employs a two-level VSI architecture, known for its simplicity and reliability, making it suitable for various applications. The research investigates the impact of different modulation index in the reference signal on the inverter's output waveform quality. Simulation results for three cases by changing the modulation index of reference signals are presented to assess the proposed drive system's efficacy. The outcomes demonstrate the system's capability to meet the stringent requirements of modern Electric Vehicle ( EV ) environments, offering a viable solution for multi-motor control. The output current in each load is controlled by modifying the modulation index of corresponding reference signal, which gives the advantage of controlling the motor individually with single inverter. This research contributes valuable insights into the design and implementation of advanced motor drive systems, paving the way for enhanced efficiency and performance in industrial and EV applications.
