This paper presents low power bandpass filter of 1GHz bandwidth using super regenerative oscillator tuned at 7GHz. The filter is used to design low power medium data rate UWB impulse receiver. The high gain and poor selectivity are the attractive properties of super regenerative oscillator for UWB system. Fully integrated filter with LC resonant tank is designed and simulated in 0.18um CMOS technology. The data exchange rate of 1Mb/s is achieved for detecting -90dBm signals of 1GHz bandwidth with power consumption of 500uW at 1.5V.
