We have studied the effect of the plasmons on the optoelectronic properties of metallic photonic nanowires. The metallic wires are made from a dielectric photonic crystal and a metallic photonic crystal where the later is embedded into the former. The bound photon states are present in the metallic photonic wire. An ensemble of three-level nanoparticles is doped into the metallic photonic crystal. A transparent state is found in the system due to the nanoparticles and the bound photons coupling. This state can be switched to a new position by changing the plasmon frequency of metallic photonic crystal. This mechanism can be used to make new types of optoelectronic devices.
